Nowadays there are always new mobility solutions that are establishing themselves on the streets. Contrary to the electric bicycle,electric motor scooters are subject to the regulations of the Federal Motor Transport Authority (Kraftfahrbundesamt) according to the German Electric Vehicle Regulation (eKFV).
The modular chassis dynamometer for electric vehicles enables standard-compliant testing according to eKFV. Among other things, the maximum permitted speed, the power consumption or the braking behavior can be tested.
In addition to the standardized tests,the test bench is also used for development and quality control tests.
