Test bench for quality control

The quality test bench is used to diagnose faulted DriveUnits and hub GearBoxes as well as incoming goods inspections. The data recorded during the check are compared with a profile of the test piece in the delivered condition. With the help of the test bench it can be directly recognized whether the requirements from the specification are fulfilled or not. To ensure better handling, a working height of 90cm was implemented.

Functionality:

  • The setup test is done in the vertical direction.
  • The test piece is placed in a test rig on a plate with form closure (height variable between 80-130cm).
  • The inclusion of the “Spider adapters”is done in the form fit with the coupling of the brake servo in the bottom.
  • Manual connection of the pedal adapter and the electrical supply of the test object.
  • The test program starts automatically and runs through the specified parameters (step-by-step test procedure possible).
  • The test bench can be adapted to all common drives / variants (middle motor, hub motor as well as non active parts as hub gear boxes) with a dedicated adapter (black plastic plate underneath the test object).

Test engines:

  • Different motors can be tested by replacing the mounting plate inside the test bench
  • The voltage of the test motors can be between 20 and 60 volts
  • Different CAN protocols can be adapted

  • Continuous rated power drive side: 1700 W
  • Max. Torque output side: 250 Nm
  • Max. Speed output side: 200 rpm
  • Continuous rated power output side: 2500 W
  • Continuous rated power output side: 2500 W

Software

  • In Automatic mode, the operating software doesn’t require any specific qualification for the operating personnel.
  • Routines can be used for automatic error detection (based on the error history).
  • The operating software can be used in manual or laboratory mode (with graphic illustration of dynamic brake loads, real bicycle model, with custom settings).
