Anniversary year 2010: EMEC moves!
The company's history began 10 years ago with the product development of power tools for Bosch. Test benches and tests were developed for this project, which is still the hobbyhorse of the Dresden-based company EMEC-Prototyping today.
In their anniversary year, they moved the company headquarters and test laboratory to a new location. The move has enabled the company to expand its testing capacities and the scope of testing for electromechanical systems. EMEC-Prototyping's core business is the development of products and customer-specific testing technology.
Due to growing demand, EMEC has decided to expand its testing services and thus provide its customers with fast and flexible test coverage. The new 500 m² facility offers sufficient space and good working conditions for the test laboratory, workshop and office.
The testing technology for the laboratory tests has been expanded to include endurance, component and motor comparison tests and special test procedures such as R200 and WMTC. The range of tests covers the electromechanical and mechanical durability of pedelecs, e-bikes and all L standard vehicles.
Accredited tests are carried out in cooperation with testing institutes. Further expansion of the laboratory is being planned. In addition to setting up a special wet and dirt laboratory, an outdoor test track is currently being implemented.
