Our process is designed to effectively turn your ideas into reality by taking a step-by-step approach, always keeping the goal in mind. Phase 1: Initialization and Needs Analysis
Making contact and initial ideas: The process begins with your inquiry, typically via our contact form or by a phone call - the cornerstone for the entire development process. In an initial personal contact over the phone, you share your vision and initial ideas with us. This exchange enables us to get a clear picture of the expected scope of the project and the specific requirements.
Goal definition and concept creation: This is followed by detailed correspondence to jointly define the project goals, carry out a risk analysis, and create a rough concept. These requirements and framework conditions are recorded in a specification sheet - this is how we ensure that all expectations are documented and lay the foundation for the entire project planning and implementation.

Phase 2: Conception and Project Planning
Development of a customized system concept and preparation of an offer: In the concept phase at EMEC-Prototyping, we devote ourselves entirely to your ideas and requirements for your project, building on the rough concept previously defined. Together we develop a customized system concept that takes into account both functional and non-functional needs, combining electronics, mechanics, and computer science through our hardware/software co-design approach. The aim is to develop a system that impresses with its safety, sustainability, and efficiency. We prepare an initial quotation for you based on the developed concept. This offer includes not only an initial cost estimate and a schedule but also a comprehensive description of the proposed solution.
Detailed technical planning: Once the offer has been accepted and the concept has been approved in principle, we begin with the project planning. In this phase, we further elaborate the proposed solution for your project and plan the technical implementation down to the last detail. These detailed specifications are recorded in a so-called functional specification. The requirements from the specifications are concretized and formulated in measurable terms. In addition, a detailed project plan is drawn up in this phase, including project resources, milestones, and project schedules. This elaborated solution proposal is discussed with you to ensure that all aspects of the project meet your expectations and that all open points are clarified before the implementation of your project begins.

Phase 3: Implementing and Building the Solution
Implementation of the test benches: After final coordination of the project plan and approval of the detailed solution proposal, we enter the implementation phase. This phase marks the start of the practical work in which the previously conceived and planned project is turned into reality. Our focus is on the precise execution of the technical specifications set out in the requirements specification. An essential part of this is the implementation of the designed test benches to ensure that every component and every system of your product meets the highest standards. Our EMEC modular system forms the foundation for the flexible and efficient implementation of these test benches. Thanks to its modularity, adjustments, and optimizations can be made quickly without delaying the overall process. This agility is crucial to be able to react to unforeseen challenges during the test phase and ensures continuous improvement of the development process. A particular advantage for you as our customer is that the test benches can be individually adapted to your specific needs. This enables a customized solution for each project, which is based on your requirements. This not only speeds up product development but also ensures the highest quality.
Final assembly: Once the system components have been successfully tested on the test benches as part of the EMEC module system and all necessary adjustments have been made, the final product is assembled. A final quality check ensures that the product is ready for delivery. At the same time, the project documentation is completed.
Phase 4: Delivery, Commissioning and After Sales Support
Delivery and formal acceptance: After the intensive implementation phase and the successful test runs of your solution, the final phase of your project begins and the completed solution is delivered to you. This formal acceptance usually involves a demonstration of the finished system in front of you, the customer, to confirm that it works and meets all specific requirements.
Training and commissioning: Our experienced team not only ensures professional commissioning on site but also provides comprehensive training for your staff. The aim is to ensure smooth operation and enable you to exploit the full potential of your new solution.
